Attorney Amy B. Welch joined Koufman & Frederick, LLP as an associate in May 2019. She has devoted her practice to civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury matters and civil rights defense, and has additionally represented medical professionals before various licensing boards. Ms. Welch has successfully represented clients in both state and federal court, at the trial and appellate level, and has also worked with clients to resolve their claims through alternative dispute resolution.  Ms. Welch graduated from Rutgers College where she majored in History and Political Science. She then obtained a MS in Public Affairs from University of Massachusetts Boston, before receiving her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. After graduating from law school, Ms. Welch clerked for the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court, prior to entering private practice. Ms. Welch presently volunteers as a Special Education Surrogate Parent, ensuring that the educational needs of children in DCF custody are met.
